Designing Consistency: UI Systems & Scalable Design

Reusable UI systems bring order to complexity.
By defining shared components, clear patterns, and structured principles, we streamlined collaboration and made digital experiences more intuitive.

From dashboards to 3D platforms, consistency ensures every touchpoint feels connected and easy to use.

Case 1. Samsung Data Dashboard – UI Design System for Scalable Insights

A big data dashboard needed more than just data. It needed a consistent, scalable UI system that could serve everyone — from senior decision-makers and marketing teams to data analysts.

Outcome

  • The UI was crafted to reflect both the brand and the realities of daily use. For frequent users, shortcut-friendly patterns streamlined repetitive tasks and interactions.

  • With dashboards at the core, we invested heavily in designing clean, intuitive visualizations. Complex data became easier to scan, compare, and act on.

  • Click, drag, drop — every interaction was considered. We designed seamless transitions and responsive feedback to make navigating dense information feel effortless and cohesive.

  • From shortcuts to micro-interactions, the design system ensured consistency across touchpoints while staying adaptable to future needs.

Case 2. LG Electronics 3D Digital Asset Management – Unreal Engine-Based UI/UX System

To streamline and optimize the 3D asset production process by replacing the slow, rigid film-inspired pipeline with a scalable, flexible system tailored to the needs of BUs, HQ, designers, and marketers.

Objectives

Shift from rigid to agile.

Move away from a film-inspired process and embrace a more dynamic, game-inspired approach.

Speed up and scale.

Accelerate production while boosting scalability and flexibility across teams.

Unify the experience.

Build a centralized UI/UX system to streamline how diverse stakeholders create, manage, and deliver 3D assets.

How We Get There

Stakeholder Interviews & Requirements Gathering

We conducted in-depth discussions with stakeholders across BUs, HQ, design, and marketing teams to identify pain points, usage patterns, and customization needs, and documented detailed user requirements to guide targeted improvements in asset production and management.

Process Redesign: From Film-inspired to Game-inspired

We moved away from a rigid, linear pipeline to introduce a game-inspired, agile workflow. This shift enabled faster iterations, reduced bottlenecks, and brought much-needed scalability.

Asset Management UI & Asset Library Creation

We built a comprehensive UI system and component library in Unreal Engine to make asset selection, customization, and usage intuitive. An asset playbook standardized types and guidelines, ensuring quick access and consistent quality across teams.

Communication & Cross-team Collaboration

We actively managed communication between stakeholders, Unreal Engine developers, and storyboard artists to ensure seamless integration of UX improvements, while conducting iterative reviews and alignment workshops to continuously validate and refine the UI/UX system.

Bringing 3D Assets to Life Across Every Touchpoint

To maximize the impact of the 3D asset library, we mapped how assets seamlessly integrate into the entire customer journey — from PDP and social media to AR/VR, sales kits, and print.
This unified system ensures every team, from global marketing to local sales, can access and deploy consistent, on-brand 3D visuals effortlessly.

Outcome → Scalable design → Consistent storytelling → Efficient asset reuse.

Impacts & Outcome

144 assets created in just 4 weeks — outperforming traditional film-inspired pipelines.
Unlocked stakeholder flexibility — enabling localized customization and storytelling freedom.
Built a scalable UI/UX system — streamlining 3D production and usage across global teams.
